Mannnn if Jean was shot and injured imagine him in the infirmary waking up and feeling pressure on his hand, all confused he looks and sees Armin sitting at his bedside holding his hand with both of his and he’s hunched over because he’s sleepy but he insists on waiting until Jean wakes up. And then Jean tries to sit up but his bandages are hurting him and he goes “A-Arumin–” and Armin looks up at him and smiles sadly / sleepily and goes to hug him but then remembers his injures so just nuzzles his face into his shoulder and Jean can hear a slight sob and he’s like “why are you crying?” and Armin whispers “I was scared.. I’d never see you again.”
