well i found this apparent plot that explained everything like it was said to be legit and after it was leaked isayama had to change everything

but the questions that came out of this chapter TOTALLY counter that so now i know it isnt true

maybe the original race was solely of titan shifters (like humans who somehow concocted a serum to turn them into some kind of superhuman species now known as a titan) , and they created a sub race of mindless titans in order to wipe out the humans because they thought they were inferior and there was no reason for them to exist since they were lower on the food chain

but if THATs the case, how did the walls come about. like there’s no way humans were able to build those walls themselves even with titan hardening as help. it’d be too chaotic. titans would be EVERYWHERE. they’d need some help from a titan shifter.
